Katzenberg Cuts

Monday, April 14th, 2008

Shlomo Katzenberg is a Master Lapidary with over 30 years of hands-on experience cutting both exotic and mainstream gemstones.

After training and working in Israel as a master gem cutter, he immigrated to America in 1974. His expertise quickly elevated him from gem cutting to setting up and operating commercial cutting factories.

From 1977 to 1983, he owned and operated a successful gem cutting facility in New Rochelle, NY which provided services to retailers and wholesalers. He then ran a lapidary shop at one of the largest jewelry stores on Long Island, NY and in 1991, a lapidary plant in Colorado.

His clients read like a ‘who’s who’ of the gem and mineral trade (for legal reasons, we are not permitted to say the names). He is known throughout the gem business for his highly refined cutting skills, impeccable honesty and reliability.

He is currently cutting gemstones for select gem dealers and jewelers all over the country.

Shop our exciting collection of Katzenberg cuts during Tanzanite Day.

You’ll find a little bit of everything here, from pendants to rings to birthstone necklaces, all grouped to make it easy for you to compare features and prices. Read jewelry descriptions carefully to find out if stones are genuine or faux.
