Weekly Feature - Chandelier Earrings

Sunday, April 13th, 2008

If you haven’t heard about chandelier earrings, then you’ve been living under a rock. These aren’t really that new, though, because basically chandelier earrings are large dangling earrings that often include crystal beads. The variety of design possibilities is just about endless.

To make these chandelier earrings, you’ll need the following:

*Stamped triangle shaped component

6 clear AB crystal drop beads

2 light blue crystal drop beads

6 head pins

2 eye pins

2 ear hooks

round nosed pliers

flat nosed pliers

wire cutters

*The stamped components in these earrings are from Guyot (number 07468) and are available in brass and silver. Notice that there is one hole on one side and three on the other side of this component.

But, David figured out a way to use multi-media to expand his reach and thus allow anyone to virtually attend his seminars designed to help jewelry business owners sell their hand-crafted jewelry.

Finally, a lot of jewelry designers are paying attention to color in a big way, and The Beader’s Color Mixing Directory by Sandra Wallace focuses on color theory for beaders.
