The team and I shared our second day with Volmax. Our gracious hosts spent the morning previewing their newest pieces, as well as showing us their surprisingly large factory, which is spread over several buildings.
Our film crew accompanied us to the factory. Look for the exciting footage during our Back from Basel event. The new watch designs are among the best produced to date. It was particularly interesting to see the extensive machinery needed to produce the cases and original dials.

Lunch with a cosmonaut!
Breaking bread with a highly decorated cosmonaut was truly an honor, especially since he’s a bit of a watch guy. He even wore his Volmax into space! It was an encounter to remember.
After lunch, Craig Hester, the film crew and I spent more time in Red Square. Look for this footage on the JTV Watches show, both before and during the Back From Basel event .
Tomorrow, we expect to spend the day with the Swifts - the Russian version of the Blue Angels. Should prove an interesting day!
